By accessing and using PDFToolsNow ("the Service", available at pdftoolsnow.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

PDFToolsNow provides browser-based PDF tools including merging, splitting, rotating, converting, watermarking, signing, and related operations. All processing occurs locally in your browser — your files are never uploaded to our servers. The Service is provided free of charge.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the Service to process files you do not have the right to access or modify
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service beyond what is publicly available
• Use automated means to scrape, crawl, or stress-test the Service without prior written consent
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law
• Attempt to circumvent any security measures or access controls

Intellectual Property

The PDFToolsNow name, logo, and site design are the property of PDFToolsNow. The open-source libraries used by the Service (pdf-lib, PDF.js, Next.js, and others) are subject to their respective licences.

You retain full ownership of any files you process using the Service. We claim no rights over your documents.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
• The output of any PDF operation will be free of errors or meet your specific requirements
• The Service will be compatible with all browsers, operating systems, or file types

Always keep a copy of your original files. We recommend verifying processed documents before relying on them for important purposes.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDFToolsNow and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or corruption of files.

Because all processing occurs in your own browser, we have no access to your files and therefore no liability for their content, integrity, or loss.

Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party services (Cloudflare for hosting, Google Analytics for anonymised usage data). These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
